I have been interested in art as long as I can remember. I was involved in the Advanced Placement program in high school and earned an art scholarship to Texas Christian University where I received a B.F.A. in Painting.  After getting my degree, I worked independently and soon chose to go back to school where I received an M.A. in Art Education.  My excitement for teaching enables me to work creatively and also to share my passion with others.

I enjoy drawing, collaging and painting with oil and acrylic. I also taught printmaking, hand built ceramics, watercolor and a variety of forms of three dimensional design in the high school classroom. 


I'm now a full time artist and stay at home mom to two energetic little boys. Having a family has enabled me to branch out creatively. In addition to my oil and acrylic paintings, I have started to make "Delivery Day" signs for hospital doors, Crib Paintings, Family Monograms and Wedding Signs.
